Through her membership in the JAX Chamber and specifically this council, Joanne has networked with other business leaders, provided referrals, and worked to raise awareness of the important role of this industry in the Jacksonville economy. She has also informally mentored other entrepreneurs she has met through chamber activities.

IABC Jacksonville / IABC Florida
Joanne has been a member of the International Association of Business Communicators for more than 20 years and has served in various leadership roles at the local chapter and regional level. She has also mentored other business communicators through her IABC involvement.

Northeast Florida Women in Transportation Seminar
With decades of experience in the transportation, logistics, and supply chain industry, Joanne understands the unique challenges that women may face in the industry. Through her 10 years as a member of this seminar, she has connected with and supported countless other women in the field of transportation.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
Joanne’s personal volunteer work in the community includes serving as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters for more than 15 years. She enjoys connecting with and encouraging young people through her work with this organization.

Girl Scouts
While raising her two children, Joanne volunteered as a Girl Scout troop leader for 13 years to help guide young women through personal development and community involvement.
